Three – Scott, Hawley and Cruz – are up for election in 2024.

Those with a minus sign (-) were voted out of office in 2022, have resigned, plan to resign, or are otherwise no longer in Congress.

United States Senate, Part II

Six other senators may not have followed-through on their threats to vote against certification, but each stoked fear and promoted conspiracy theories about election interference that were proven to be false.

One – Blackburn – is up for re-election in 2024. Daines is retiring to run for Governor of Montana.

United States House Of Representatives

Not all Republican representatives in the House voted against certifying the results of the 2020 Presidential election. In total, 70 members of the GOP joined Democrats (292) in voting to certify the results and peacefully transition power.

However, the 139 House Republicans who voted to challenge the results in Arizona or Pennsylvania (or both) sought to undermine democracy and appoint a ruler in a planned coup.

Two representatives – Bilirakis (Fla) and Steel (Ca) did not vote on the objections though they were present for the proceeding. Four GOP reps missed the vote due to testing positive for COVID-19.

All members of the United States House of Representatives will be up for re-election in 2024.
